MIT: MEDIA LAB - THOMAS SANCHEZ LENGELING

For this edition of OFFFMX, Thomas Sánchez Lengeling, a Mexican engineer, designer, artist, and Research Scientist at the City Science Group at the MIT Media Lab, will share with us research and the technological tools to study urban challenges that link the design process of machines and humans in cities. Thomas creates tangible interfaces and immersive environments that explore the spatial and experiential aspects of urban design and sustainable mobility in cities.

The City Science Group, as part of the renowned MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts, proposes that new strategies must be found to create the places where people live and work, as well as the mobility systems that connect them, to address the profound challenges of the future.
